Custom Discs

Introduction

The Internet Disc Shop provides custom Ultimate disc design and production services. We produce dozens of designs each year, and have worked with teams, clubs, companies, and families to transform their ideas into flying plastic.

Disc models

We offer two top-quality regulation Ultimate discs, both weighing 175 grams: the Discraft UltraStar™ Sport Disc and the Wham-O Frisbee™-Brand UMAX™; The UltraStar is a historical favorite of Ultimate players, but is more expensive. Both discs are outstanding and approved by the Ultimate Players Association.

Colors

Discs are typically available in the following standard plastic colors, plus occasionally others...check with us for current availability from specific manufacturers:

• white
• orange
• yellow
• red
• blue
• green
• red
• black

The following special plastics are often available for an additional charge (please check with us on availability):

• ultraviolet (sun) glow (add $1.25)
• glow-in-the-dark (add $1.00)
• purple pearl (add $1.00)
• blue sparkle (add $1.00)

These are the hot stamp colors, several of which are available with various regular (matte) and metallic (shiny) options (again, availability may vary by manufacturer...check with us to see what's current):

• black
• white
• red (regular, metallic, metallic prism, or metallic sparkle)
• green (kelly green, neon, or metallic)
• blue (royal, navy, light blue, metallic, or metallic sparkle)
• purple (metallic, metallic prism, or metallic sparkle)
• yellow (regular)
• pink (neon)
• orange (regular or neon)
• silver (metallic or metallic prism)
• gold (metallic or metallic prism)
• copper (metallic)
• metallic rainbow (wide or narrow)

Metallic rainbow, prism, and sparkle hot stamps cost an additional $0.50 per disc (standard metallic colors do not cost extra).

Prices

Here are our per-disc prices (in U.S. dollars), which include all die and set-up charges. Shipping and import duties (the latter for international customers) are extra. You will not pay sales tax unless you reside in Michigan and are purchasing UltraStars. Please contact us for orders over 3,000 units, or for a quote on three-color designs.

USA Ultimate (USAU) members who are ordering discs for a team or tournament receive discounts on custom UltraStars as noted in the third price column (if you're not a USAU member, it's worth joining for $40 to obtain this discount!).

Note: the minimum order quantity is 100 discs, except for white UltraStars, which are available in white plastic, one-color designs only. Unfortunately, this is a firm minimum quantity, and exceptions cannot be made. Thanks for understanding!

We produce all final, camera-ready artwork based on your artwork submission, and we manage the production process. Our prices include a brief design consultation and general assistance with formatting graphics...if more substantial graphic design work is required, we'll give you an estimate for custom artwork production.

Artwork

Disc artwork is generally submitted electronically, although hardcopy art is also acceptable. Before submitting art for your custom disc, please download and read our digital artwork specifications (500 kb PDF file).

Terms of payment

Payment is due upon placement of the order. The Internet Disc Shop accepts checks, money orders, credit cards, and PayPal. Custom discs are non-refundable.

Turnaround time

Frisbee UMAX discs generally take 1 to 3 weeks for production. Discraft UltraStars take 4 to 6 weeks.
